Sustainability & Process Improvement Manager

We are now looking for an experienced Sustainability and Process Improvement Manager. Mer is a full-service charging provider and active in all charging segments from public, workplace, depot, on-street, to home charging. The group is a merger of successful charging start-ups and has an expansive European growth strategy. Mer is fully owned by Norwegian Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy provider and virtual power plant operator – sustainable since 1895 – giving Mer a clear competitive edge.
In your role as Sustainability & Process Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating sustainability initiatives in Mer and for leading improvement initiatives along the whole process landscape. Key activities will amongst others be:
Identify and prioritize improvement and sustainability opportunities throughout the value chain
Actively leading improvement projects to increase scalability, improve quality, and enhance processes in Mer
Coordinate our program of sustainability initiatives under the Mer Way, focusing on creating the greatest impact, using data and experience to advise management
Lead internal networks on sustainability and HSS
Support in other group projects where relevant
We think you have a profile like this:
Several years of experience in the field of process improvement preferred, and in sustainability field an advantage, with a link to B2C business and/or equivalent experience in consulting and project management
University degree in engineering, business, or similar
Experience in achieving process improvement objectives on schedule in a team environment
Passion on sustainability with a creative mindset, affinity for quantitative models and strong conceptual and implementation skills
Familiar with ESG reporting frameworks and tools
Ability to connect key sustainability knowledge into business topics
Highly motivated, hands-on mentality with full ownership for cross-departmental projects
Excellent proficiency in English. Other languages beneficial: Norwegian, Swedish, German

The role will report to our Head of Improvement & Scaling, based in Düsseldorf. Your work location can however be any of ours: Oslo, Kristiansand, Helsingborg, Stockholm, Munich, Düsseldorf, Teisnach, London and Consett. Some international travel will thus be required.
